The recently concluded Prenatal Workshop, organised by MommyDaddy&I has successfully set a new record for holding Malaysia’s Most Participants in a Prenatal Workshop. 406 Parents-to-Be attended this prenatal workshop, with the aim of learn all about pregnancy, childbirth and Newborn Care.
The prenatal workshop was organised by MommyDaddy&i, in conjunction with Columbia Asia Hospital – Puchong and Columbia Asia Hospital – Petaling Jaya on 19 March 2023 at ICCC Shah Alam, and officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the biggest Prenatal Workshop with 406 participants.
The whole day’s prenatal workshop with the aim of equipping expecting parents-to-be with all the knowledge needed for them to prepare for the delivery of their child. Invited speakers were supported by dietitian Mardiah binti Mat Din, Dr. Nicholas Lim obstetrician & gynecologist, Dr. Cheok Sui Ann Pediatrician and Sr. Nurhilyani Jaapar, the Nursing Supervisor, to sharing the professional knowledge of pregnancy, childbirth and Newborn Care. Covering many topics such as breastfeeding, Pregnancy Nutrition and basic baby care of newborn bathing, swaddling, diapering, cord care.
This workshop specially invited Cord Blood expert, child occupant safety instructor and nutritionist to share their specific expertise in the sessions’ topic. 6 daddies get a chance take part in first-in-Malaysia carry a baby for a day experience with empathy belly, and feel the sensations of labor pain with simulation TENS machine.
In the end, the organizer have prepare a lot of amazing prizes to give away during lucky draw session!
After the lucky draw session, it was time to end the event with the Malaysia Book of Records certificate presentation ceremony where three certificates were awarded to the organizers; MommyDaddy&I, together with CAH-PJ, and CAH-P. Representing MommyDaddy&i is the founder Miss Chew Meng Li, representing CAH-PJ in receiving its certificate was the hospital GM, Encik Yasser Arafat Ishak, and for CAH-P, its GM, Madam Ong Gait Cheng.
The Malaysia Book of Records representatives who presented them with the certificates were Mr Edwin Yeoh Chin and Puan Siti Nurhanim Mohd Noh. The VIP guest who graced the event was Chairperson from Puspanita, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datin Roszita Imaduddin.
