Founded in 2012 by Ms Florence Tee, a mom, educator and NLP Certified Trainer among other amiable statuses, IGS English no longer needs an introduction among Malaysian parents. The centre has been helping students of various ages reach greater heights in their proficiency in spoken, written English, as well as in creative writing, public speaking, reading, leadership speech, and so much more.
IGS had a modest beginning in a house, with just a few students. Today, the multi-award winning brand occupies a prime spot in one of Selangor’s most affluent shopping malls, where it offers sought-after courses for a couple of hundred students or more who desire to better themselves in writing, reading and speaking in English. The language, after all, is a crucial one to master if students wish to go the furthest possible in their lives by communicating, speaking and writing in ways that affect changes.
IGS English employs a team of dedicated, passionate educators armed with TESOL, TESL, TEFL, or CELTA qualifications at the very least. They put in great effort to teach and guide students between the ages of 4-12 in courses such as Starter’s English, IGCSE English, Singapore English, Reading Programme, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Cambridge English and Leadership English. Ms Florence has always believed that it is not just about teaching English, but more about how the language is taught, and it is this difference that has catapulted her centre to astounding success as an English language school in Malaysia.
