Parents visiting the TCE Baby Expo can experience “Over 50 Years of Brain Research dedicated to Nurturing Exceptional Minds” through the S-26 Gold Progress Booth activation. The event features expert sharing sessions, parenting conversations and access to S-26 Gold Progress proprietary Brain Visualiser. Together, these experiences aim to help parents better understand the role of nutrition, learning and everyday interactions in supporting brain development in children.

The activation marks an important milestone for Wyeth Nutrition as it celebrates over five decades of advancing the understanding of children’s brain development. Over the past 50 years, the company has contributed to research in areas such as brain connections, myelination and key nutrients including Sphingomyelin & DHA that support children’s ability to Think Quick and Learn Fast. This legacy continues to guide Wyeth Nutrition’s efforts to support parents through science-backed nutrition and education.

Over the past five decades, Wyeth Nutrition’s leadership in brain science has helped advance understanding of how strong brain connections are associated with children’s learning and development. Research into brain connections and myelination shows that efficient neural pathways can support faster signal transmission in the brain. This scientific understanding forms the inspiration behind the “10x Faster Brain Connection” message for S-26 Gold Progress. These discoveries underscore the importance of establishing strong brain foundations, as the quality of brain connections formed in early childhood may influence children’s ability to learn, adapt and thrive in the future. Guided by this commitment to advancing brain science, Wyeth Nutrition continues to support parents with innovations and educational experiences designed to help nurture children’s exceptional minds.
Bringing Brain Science to Life
A key highlight of the event is S-26 Gold Progress proprietary Brain Visualiser. The interactive experience helps parents better understand what happens inside children’s developing brain.
Through visual simulations, parents can explore concepts of brain connections. This is an important process that support how children learn, process information and respond to the world around them.

“For Over 50 years, Wyeth Nutrition has been advancing the understanding of children’s brain development through science and research,” said Ms Yeoh She Shiang, Business Executive Officer, Wyeth Nutrition Malaysia.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we want to help parents better understand what science means for their own children. The Brain Visualiser allows parents to see concepts that are often difficult to explain and brings decades of brain research to life in a meaningful and engaging way.”
Understanding the First 1,000 Days
The programme also features a sharing session by Consultant Paediatrician Dr Ryan Ng, who helps parents better understand why the first 1,000 days represent one of the most important periods in a children’s development.
During the session, parents gain insights into how the brain develops, the role of myelination in helping the brain process information more efficiently, and the importance of everyday experiences such as talking, reading and playing are critical in building strong brain connections. The session also explores executive function, a set of skills that help children focus, solve problems, adapt to new situations and regulate their behaviour.
“The first 1,000 days are a remarkable period of growth because children’s brains develop faster during this time than at any other stage of life,” said Dr Ryan Ng, Consultant Paediatrician, 123 Child Specialist Clinic.
“Many parents think brain development is determined by big milestones, but it is often the small everyday quality moments that matter most. Simple activities such as talking, reading, playing and exploring together help build important brain connections that support learning and development in children.”
Dr Ryan also highlighted the importance of providing children with a strong foundation through nutrition, stimulation and a nurturing environment.
“Brain development is shaped by a combination of factors. Right nutrition provides the building blocks for developing strong brain connections, while everyday interactions and learning experiences help strengthen these connections that allow children to think, learn and adapt. These elements work together to help children reach their unique potential.”
Learning from Real Parenting Experiences
Complementing the expert session is a parenting conversation with momfluencers Karen Kho and Yee Fei, who share their personal experiences navigating modern parenthood. The discussion focuses on the challenges parents face today, the importance of recognising children’s unique strengths, and the small everyday moments that contribute to growth and development.
Through authentic parenting stories, parents gain practical perspectives on balancing information, expectations and decision-making while supporting their children’s brain development journey.

Supporting Children’s Potential Through Science
Today’s parents have access to more information than ever before, yet many continue to seek trusted guidance on how to nurture their children’s potential. Backed by over 50 years of leadership in brain research, Wyeth Nutrition remains committed to translating scientific discoveries into nutritional innovations that support children’s growing brains, helping establish the strong foundations needed to Think Quick, Learn Fast, with 10x faster brain connection and nurture exceptional minds.
“All children has unique strengths and potential,” added Ms Yeoh.
“Our role is to help parents better understand how they can unlock that potential. As we celebrate over 50 years of brain research, we remain committed to advancing brain science and translating that knowledge into meaningful innovations and educational experiences for families.”
The S-26 Gold Progress Booth activation is open to visitors at the TCE Baby Expo, where parents can engage with the Brain Visualiser, hear from experts and gain practical knowledge on supporting their children’s brain development during the critical years of life.
