When children receive support early, it significantly enhances their ability to develop essential life skills, better navigate sensory experiences, and ultimately preparing them for entrance into mainstream schools and independence in life. These in turn play major roles in improving the quality of their lives. Research has also indicated that early intervention significantly influences positive outcomes, offering a brighter future compared to when their parents seek help later on in their childhood.
One of the most widely recognised therapies for children with speech delays and ASD is Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy. Dedicated to providing tailored attention for children with speech delays, learning disabilities, and social or behavioural challenges, the Autism Behavioral Center (ABC) stands out as a leader in the field. Supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), ABC is proudly our country’s largest center specialising in 1:1 individualised therapy.
While all preschool parents may worry about school readiness, parents of children with ASD face additional concerns, such as communication, behavioural challenges, and lack of social skills. ABC distinguishes itself as the trusted provider of high-quality early intervention. With branches in Bangsar, Subang, and Ampang KL—where life skills training is also offered for teens and adults—ABC is accessible to families in need. Free autism screenings for children aged 16–30 months is offered all year round for parents looking to determine if their child is developing typically and if autism is a concern in early childhood development.
Awarded the Diamond Award in the category of Early Intervention Programme, ABC stood out during the 2025 BabyTalk & MamaPapa Readers’ Choice Awards, retaining its reputation as the top early intervention programme for children with special needs. Their comprehensive services include both 1:1 center-based and home-based interventions, music therapy, speech and occupational therapy, diagnostic evaluations, as well as shadow aide support.
