Families and thrill-seekers across Kuala Lumpur can start gearing up to explore a whole new realm of excitement as GameOn Theme Park is set to open the doors of its latest and largest indoor venue in Melawati Mall on 1 December. Designed to be the ultimate playground for families, this vibrant new outlet of Malaysia’s premier indoor entertainment centre is set to ignite imaginations and spark joy, spanning a sprawling 30,000 square feet filled with 14 thrilling attractions.
Founded by Lilian Chan and Leroy Lee, Game On is Malaysia’s premier indoor entertainment destination, offering a dynamic range of attractions designed to engage and thrill visitors of all ages. Veterans of the local interactive entertainment scene, Leroy and Lilian also make up the driving force behind Next Gen Themepark 1 Utama, Malaysia’s largest edutainment theme park. While Next Gen blends fun with educational experiences for families and schools, Game On offers a mix of interactive games and activities for visitors, as the latest venture in their ongoing mission to curate spaces where people can enjoy lasting memories with loved ones. Together, they have moulded it into one of the fastest-growing names in Malaysia’s family entertainment sector.
Visitors to the Melawati Mall outlet can expect the mix of interactive and sports-based experiences that have become synonymous with the Game On brand, including Kung Fu challenges, ninja courses, table pool, trampoline, maze running, karaoke, and more. The park also includes classic board games such as Jenga, and chess — as well as their 3D versions — catering to a wide variety of interests and ensuring that guests of all ages can find something to enjoy.
The Melawati mall outlet’s pièce de résistance however, is set to be revealed in stage two of the park’s expansion, by March 2025. In addition to being the largest theme park located in KL East, the second half of the park’s expansion includes plans to build Malaysia’s Longest Indoor Slide, spanning Level 6 to the Ground Floor. This unique feature is set to become a highlight for adventure lovers and is part of GameOn’s ongoing efforts to bring fresh, exciting attractions to its visitors.
“Opening our latest theme park at Melawati Mall is an exciting milestone for us. We’re committed to offering innovative, enjoyable experiences that bring people together — our long-term goal is to offer experiences that bring joy and connection to every community we touch,” noted Lilian Chan, Co-Founder of GameOn, adding “Every park is designed with our communities in mind, ensuring that there’s something for everyone—whether it’s a thrilling ninja course for the office group having a team-building session, or a quiet board game corner for family bonding. We’re driven by the happiness we see on our visitors’ faces, and we’re excited to keep pushing the boundaries of what fun with loved ones can be.”
The opening of the Melawati Mall branch also marks the latest step forward in their journey, with plans already underway to open five more locations in the next nine months. These new parks will be even bigger, with each space covering over 180,000 square feet to bring in more attractions and offer even more variety to visitors. By April 2025, the company plans to have 11 parks across Malaysia, re-establishing its place as a leading name in the local entertainment industry.
“This is only the beginning of all we have planned — the fun’s just getting started,” said Leroy Lee, Co-Founder of GameOn. “This is our sixth park in just ten months, and each new location brings us closer to our goal of creating unique, fun-filled spaces where families can truly connect. From Toppen to Subang Parade, we’ve seen how these parks spark joy, laughter, and shared moments. Our vision with GameOn is not just to entertain but to build lasting memories that families will cherish for years to come.”
